Examples of MoveSelectionCommand

org.eclipse.nebula.widgets.nattable.selection.command.MoveSelectionCommand

Command that is used to move a selection into a given direction.

Since 1.2.0 it can be created in several ways, to be able to customize the determination of the steps to move. The following lists the different ways and their effects:

no steps, no strategy
the {@link ITraversalStrategy} configured with the{@link MoveSelectionCommandHandler} is used and will be asked for the stepcount
specify steps to move
the {@link ITraversalStrategy} configured with the{@link MoveSelectionCommandHandler} is used but modified to return the givenstep count
specify traversal strategy
the given {@link ITraversalStrategy} is used and will be asked for the stepcount. The {@link ITraversalStrategy} configured with the{@link MoveSelectionCommandHandler} will be ignored.

        assertEquals(4, this.selectionLayer.getLastSelectedCell().getColumnPosition());
        assertEquals(2, this.selectionLayer.getLastSelectedCell().getRowPosition());


        // move 24 steps up
        this.viewportLayer.doCommand(new MoveSelectionCommand(MoveDirectionEnum.UP, 24, false, false));


        assertEquals(4, this.selectionLayer.getLastSelectedCell().getColumnPosition());
        assertEquals(8, this.selectionLayer.getLastSelectedCell().getRowPosition());
    }
