eu.planets_project.tb.impl.TestbedManagerImpl
The EntityManager we use to talk to the DB is handled differently in different parts of the code, and that some of the ways we do this may be causing problems. Most importantly, the main Experiment updating code, performed by the TestbedManagerImpl, uses a copy of the EntityManager that is constructed when the TB application starts up and is shared across sessions (application scope). Unfortunately, the EntityManager is not thread-safe, and therefore there should be a single instance of it per DB transaction (e.g. request scope perhaps). Currently, the same EntityManager is shared between requests at the moment, and so is liable to get confused. @author alindley, Andrew.Jackson@bl.uk
